I have lived at Stonegate since they first opened. I have had a few issues and problems, but nothing that wasn't resolved. I deal alot w/ Tonya, since Leslie seems to stay in her office most of the time. I really don't think she likes dealing w/ people face to face, but will talk to you on the phone very professionally. I had a prblem with bugs after they moved someone into my building a few months ago, but after calling the office it was resolved within 48 hours w/ the exterminator coming out. Parking is not that great, but what do you expect when you have all of the young military guys and all of there friends here. I would like to see a better job with snow removal, but that is once maybe twice a year complaint. Maintenance is ok, the only faithful guy they have had is Ray, and he is very friendly and gets the job done. I would not have continued to renew my lease every year if it was unbearable as some people seem to think. It makes me wonder if the people that have problems have ever tried talking to the staff to make them aware of the problem, everytime I have things have been resolved. The staff seems to be one of the nicest and most knowledgable in this area. As far as crime, it is anywhere you go. I read the paper daily and Stonegate addresses seem to be alot fewer for this area then other complexes. Read the papers, all the crime reviews are there. Overall even with the problems, Stonegate is a very nice neighborhood, and the problems do get resolved (if you bring them up). But don't take the advise of everyone else decide for yourself. All I can say is I have had and will continue to have a great apartment and look forward to the upcoming activities that the staff does for us. I don't know of any other community in the area that puts balloons on your door for your birthday, or little valentine treats on everyone's door for Valentine's Day, or even does a monthly drawing for a dinner gift certificate. Look above and beyond, or read in between the lines of people that obviously did not get there way or the answer taht they wanted to here from the office.
