I have lived there about 2 ? years, and am considering resigning the lease. It?s not a bad place. Other reviews about noisy neighbors and thin walls are overstated. My friends live in a brand new beautiful (and overpriced) place in Herndon and their walls are much more thinner and you can hear music, etc. Maybe I have a quiet neighbor. I have never considered the walls or my neighbors a problem. The tenants there are actually very nice people.

The apartments are cool. I can see maintenance service being below par, but they get the job done so long as I ride rental offices @ss about it. I had a leak in my ceiling, washer work done, and a few odds and ends over the years. The actual maintenance guys are cool, I cannot complain about them. I know enough people who have worse stories.

The problem is that I live on the ground floor near the pool and basketball court. It seems that ever since spring I have seen little punks who do not live there go and play basketball and hang out at all hours of the night and into the morning. For a while it was an after school hangout. The place seems really ghetto these days. I have seen:

-Underage smoking and drinking.
-Some jackass smoking pot sitting on the picnic benches.
-A fight between 2 girls, then arguing amongst guys. Very loud.
-Basketball or hanging out past midnight, but it?s a problem when people are loud.
-Pool hopping.
-These little punks walking to their cars from the court and asking me and my roommate for cigarettes.

I am considering other places. If you are looking for an internet connection at CO [and this is my gripe] the phone lines won?t support DSL because of digital lines; Adelphia cable modems are not in the eastern part of the county, there is only a bogus promise; the only option is satellite cable. If you want a good net connection, go to the apartments by Dulles Town Center mall. That place is nice, not that expensive, and has a T-1 line. CO is good though; I like the gym, racquetball court, and pool. Kudos to them for the new chairs.
