Just recently moved out in the past 6 months and wasn't totally satisfied with quality for as much money as I was paying. I was paying $1400 for a 2 bed/2bath and when our lease was up, they wanted to raise it to $1632...how can it go up that much' Thats crazy. The maitenance was okay at times but when we first moved in our fridge/freezer didn't work so all of our food went bad (about $250 worth) we called and called and they finally came out but it took them 4 different times to figure out what was actually wrong with it. At the end of our lease there was a plumbing problem that they had to take half the wall out of my 3 year old's closet (very unsafe). Not happy with that at all. The leasing office was also VERY hard to get a hold of. We would call and ask a question (on voicemail) and it would take a week or more for them to get back to us. The parking in front of my building was horrible. We would have to park on the street in front of the Single family houses if you got there after 6pm. As mentioned in someone else's comments, the trash was out of control. Would not recommend unless you like wasting your money. The only good part would be the floorplan of the apartment and the interior of the apartment, that was nice.

I agree with your comments. I had a lot of maintenance issues as well. The maintenance staff was VERY friendly but the office scheduling them for issues was VERY slow. I guess as long as their apartments were in good shape it didn't matter about anyone else's. There was also a murder here in 2005. You can read about it thru the Loudoun County courts pages.
