I have lived at the Reserve for 2 years and am thrilled that my lease is up. The apartment is falling apart, stains from prior tenants showed through after 2 weeks. The grass is covered in dog poop because no one ever clean up after their pets and the office does not inforce the laws. Parking is a nightmare unless you pay $45 for an assigned spot. During baseball and soccer season parking is impossible with the sports fielders parking in our spots. Recently the crime in the area has increased and the office no longer has a patrol man come around. Additionally while curb side garbage pick up sounds like a great idea - it is terrible. People use it as an excuse to just set their garbage by the stairs at any time or day. Which means that I pay to look at peoples garbage. I talked with management several times about the issues I have listed here and not once was an attempt made to better the experience. Overall I am unimpressed with The Reserve as it is a waste of money for the "extra ammenaties".

This posting is interesting since I've lived at the Reserve for almost 2 years. Yes, people unfortunately don't pick up after their pets. As far as the parking goes, I've never had a problem finding a parking space and I've lived in two apartments on the property. Parking is not assigned. The only time you pay for parking is if you have a garage. They don't even restrict where your guest can park which is wonderful. I've lived at other places and had people over and they could be there 15 minutes and got towed!
I'm not saying this place is perfect but it's confusing to me that this poster has given false information about where they've supposedly lived for two years. Their are no sports fields that I know of near the property. To my knowledge they do have a loudoun county deputy living on site because I see their car parked in the parking lot and I've been told by the office that they are the courtesy patrol for the property.
As far as the garbage people are lazy at times. Management tries, sometimes not so well to keep up with the compactor that's onsite and I've never heard of curb side pick up of your trash. Believe me, I'd love to have something like that offered!
Anyway, hope that my response gets read by renters out there. I'd recommend Reserve.

The reviewer probably has the wrong apartment complex!!
-I have lived here 16 months and have never had a problem with parking
-my apartment was beautiful when I moved in and has stayed that way.
-maintenance responds to my requests within 24 hours
-no curb side garbage/no garbage on stairs
-can't speak for crime cause I keep to myself but I feel safe

I agree, it sounds like the poster has the incorrect apartment community. I lived here for a year and loved it! Only moved out b/c I bought a townhome!
