Parking : The part where the roads intersect inside the complex causes a parking problem since there are no assigned spots and multiple buildings share that area. It s first-come-first-serve. You won t have to park outside of the complex. Still, it would be nice to have assigned spots.
Noise: The AC system is noticeable when you re right under it and around the kitchen area. I couldn t hear it in the bedrooms with the doors open, and it was barely noticeable in the living room. Outside noise is not an issue.
Grounds: There s a frickin lake in the middle of the complex, stocked. The greens are well kept and the area is clean. It s very attractive. The club house is very well arranged and the fitness center has everything you'll need for a good workout. Extra for a view of the lake.
Safety: A fire/police station is right around the corner - big brownie points. The area is kind of isolated but I didn't think it was a worrisome area.
Construction: The buildings look sturdy enough. The internal design is modern and the rooms are pretty big. I really don't thing the computer nook would be very useful, but it's a nice thought. I wasn't too happy with the dining area being the first thing you walk into when you enter the apartment but I thought I would just have to get used to it considering all else. The living room was a bit small. The kitchen is well-built and has new cabinetry. Full size washer/dryer in each unit, located behind the kitchen.
Staff : Andrea was very accommodating and helpful throughout the process. She was a delightful person and great to deal with. She lives in the complex as well.
Overall : It may be a bit expensive, but there's really nothing else quite like it in the same area and price range. We ended up not taking the apartment since we were re-routed to San Diego. It s a shame since we had our hearts set on this apartment. If we ever move to this area of Virginia again, we already know where we are going to live. http://www.hbapts.com/index.html

OBNOXIOUS is the word that I would use to describe the Manager. Useless, bias, and very unprofessional. She's got to have something on someone to still be working there. I was in the office once when her own daughter said something about how they move every six months because her mother kept getting fired!

OBNOXIOUS is the word I would use to describe you... we all know exactly who you are and why you've posted what you did (Word of advice: keep your unregistered vehicle registered w/the office and operable and it won't get towed) Afterall, we were just following the Rules & Regs that all of the residents sign at the time of move in. I personally think it's very low of you to bring someone's child into such a forum, so now who's unprofessional? You need to get a life and stop bad mouthing individuals you don't really know...
