I lived there the length of my lease. There was some problems upon move out, manager claims there is an account that they have on each resident. They will add repairs to this account without your knowledge. My new landlord called and go a bad report from manager. Claim I left a balance, my security was used up and extra charges were added to the apartment. Careful they will add alot of charges to you account without giving you the dollar amount. Careful after you give notice they will stop fixing and repairing needed repairs. Careful with the carpet, they will try to charge you for replacing the carpet in the entire apartment for just one spot. Nice community sorry management.

If you are so right and have been unfairly treated, why didn't you take any legal steps? The state of Virginia has a VRLTA which is specifically designed to insure the fair treated of renters as well as landlords. And why are you posting anonymously? Most people who have been treated unfairly want to speak loudly! Upon move in we were given forms to document the condition of the apartment and were clearly advised of possible charges concerning any damage done by us, our guests, or our cat. Some people just do not like it when the rules apply to them!
