We moved in right when they were "cleaning house" (supposedly getting rid of the "bad" tenants). While the outside noise is quite a bit better than it was about 6 months ago, the inside noise is horrendous. The ceilings/floors are so old and wore out that you can hear everytime your neighbor upstairs is moving around. it's so loud that our baby wakes up screaming when our neighbor(s) are walking around in the early morning hours. When we first moved in, we thought it was pretty clean, but they basically furnish the apts. w/ the most ghetto carpet, upholstery, curtains, paint, appliances money can find. and we moved into a supposed "renovated" unit. if you wipe the wall the paint comes off, spill a tiny bit of anything on the carpet it stains, the fridge doesn't work properly, and the pipes are so squeaky you know when any of your neighbors are showering. the office staff are not the brightest-they posted our rent to someone else's account one month and posted a late notice on our door. they are desperate for tenants and even though we had to sign a waiver for criminal background check when we moved in, by doing some internet research, i found out a convicted child molester lives in the complex. DON'T LIVE HERE! spend a little more money and live somewhere where you can get a decent night's sleep!!! oh, and they had two MANDATORY exterminations in less than three weeks--you have to empty out ALL your cabinets and drawers until the exterminators come through (you never know what time, or if, they'll show). if you don't comply, you get charged $50...even if you've never seen a bug or rodent in your unit! this place is awful!!!
