Okay so I've been living in Linden Park Apartments for almost a year now. I live in one of the buildings that they renovated with a new dishwasher, and new carpet and such. I don't have any bug problems because once to two times a month they spray for bugs. I mean don't get me wrong the occassional bug does enter my home but it's not anything serious. My husband and I moved here as our first home together, it's the cheapest we could find in the area and is really close to Quantico (which is nice when you're married to a Marine and can't get housing on base right away.) There are some complaints, but nothing serious. I think that it's great as a starter home or if you're on a serious budget and just need a place to live. It is what you make it! My only complaints are that my neighbors are really noisy, the fridge doesn't stay as cold as I would like, if someone smokes it manages to move through my vents and into my home, I hate having to move everything in my home for the bug spraying, and the cops patrol the parking lots at night which results in shining their lights in my bedroom window. On the plus side, the cops are probably a good thing because they are just checking everything out on a regular basis, the maintenance guy works really hard to solve any issues you have within the apartment. I had my tub leaking into my closet last month because the caulking was loose, and he spent all day fixing it, then steam cleaning and disinfecting my carpet. He then came back the next day to check on it and make sure that everything was good. I told him about my fridge making funny noises and he preceeded to take care of that too before he left. The manager Heidi helps you out with anything she can if she's around, and if not then Barbara takes care of you as well. The apartments really spacious, and I don't have any REAL issues! So! I think everyone's opinion of what is nice is different. I think that this is a nice place to live because of the cost (even though I still think the low rent is outragious), the location, and the staff.

Heidi and Barbara have been my biggest problems! Barbara blew off me trying to tell her about harassment and vandalism from other neighbors and Heidi said that my husband should have been the one to report issues. I agree the cost is nice, but it's not worth the lack of safety!
