We lived at Arbor Trace for about 6 months. We found the management to actually be very friendly -- they always greeted our newborn daughter with enthusiasm and were very polite to us. They were also helpful when we moved on and needed to request some forms from them later. The maintenance man was always at our place within the HOUR if there was a problem. So I'm not sure where some other peoples' complaints about the management are coming from.
As for the fees, they can be a bit high. Utilities are pricy and we were charged a rather large cleaning fee upon our exit even though I'd cleaned the apartment very thoroughly. The jet noise is unavoidable, but if you are a Navy family like ours you are used to it. The main thing I didn't like about the apartment was that it was very dark during the day, but that was partly teh side of the building we lived on. We NEVER had a problem finding parking and could usually park right in front of our building -- but if you get home very late at night you might have to park further away within the lot. there was always room in the lot, though.
The "neighborhood" is not really a neighborhood at all -- a strip mall, really, with a Super K-Mart and the like. It's not a residential area. It is, however, convenient, which is, overall, the biggest selling point Arbor Trace has-- its ultimate convenience. As a family moving in with a baby on the way, we wanted a place where all of our maintenance issues would be resolved quickly, and where our major appliances would be provided. Arbor Trace came through in this regard.
