I rented here for a year and a half. I would tell anybody that I know don't waste your time. These people are crooked and will shaft you in any way shape or form to get into your pockets. I broke lease to buy a home and they have sapped over fifteen hundred dollars out of my pocket. The young lady in the office tells me upon move out that I owe around six hundred dollars, then around a month later we recieve a bill for over eight hundred and ninty dollars stating that we still owed for a water bill, a transfer fee and owe them for carpeting in the whole apartment. They stated my dogs had ruined the carpet. My cat had torn a small piece of carpet by the bedroom door that i was more than happy to replace until i got stiffed for the whole apt. I guess the 400.00 pet fee does not cover any repairs. It is just a fee that allows you to have pets. I have rented at three other apartments and never had this problem, my dogs are older and house trained, they are also crated. The apartment carpet was smelly when I moved in, I had to steam clean it. There is a mold problem in the laundry room that was never fixed. I had the laundry room flooded twice, the second time it took two weeks to fix the water damage and that's after I complained multiple times. The dishwasher was rusted and old. The window sills and molding were chewed up from prior residents. The windows leaked water every time it rained and the leaks in the windows drove my heating bill to almost $150.00 for a 900 sq foot apt. They showed us the model apt which looks great, then you get the real deal and charged out the nose for it. After we moved in they went from no pet rent to charging us for our pets. If I left my shoes out of my front door I would be fined, the door locks on the buildings do not work and the intercom system did not work. Parking is poor, you have to walk in the dark to your apt. The hallways smell like urine, and you can hear everything that you neighbor does. The visiblity is so poor due to all of the "visiting" vehicles parked on the side of the road that I was T-boned while leaving the complex by another car. The office could care less concerning the parking problem. Save yourself the troubles and stay far away.
