Do you like your car'

Within the first 6 months of living here with my family, 12 cars were broken into. The carpet is so old that it feels like you are walking on concrete. Don't get me started on the roaches! When it rains it smell like sewege and the complex gets paid a visit from a shocking number of small frogs (located to the left and behind these apartments, hidden by trees, sits what should be a small river/type lake thing, but looks and smells more like a sewege drain...it might very well be just that!) It does take an alarming amount of effort to get anything fixed. The walls are so thin that anyone walking to the upper floors sounds like they are kicking in your door.

Its funny how people complain about things you have no control over. Im sure if 12 cars got broken into it would be the talk of the town however this is my first time hearing about it. When I stand at the playground as my child plays I sit and talk to the parents out there and that never came up? Frogs? are you serious? I really like living here...its fun and for what Im playing other places charge more for. I feel like I got a good deal and my experience here is GREAT!

To the person who responded on 1/31/08...why are you anonymous? Once again, here is someone who has no life and is probably as stay-at-home mom or dad with a military husband or wife. Why don't you save your comments for a topic more relevant to YOUR perfect situation and leave that other person alone. Just because this is YOUR first time hearing about it doesn't mean anything. What's it to you anyway? You act like you're the property manager or something. If you can't fix the issues, then you don't need to hear about it so SHUT UP! You may not live anywhere close to that other person so you won't always experience the same things. Just keep your comments to yourself about loving it here! I would love it here too if all I had to do everyday is take my child to the park and speak to other parents in the complex. Give me a break! Get a job, pay the rent YOURSELF, and then talk. If you're not paying the bills and getting the run-around from the office staff, just don't comment. It obviously has nothing to do with you!!!!!!! Thanks.

That response seems to be a little personal and does not have much to do about the apartment complex but more of someone's life. It seems that way with a majority of negative complaints. I do agree that it was very loud to listen to someone walking up the stairs. Especially having the master bedroom next to the walkways. I had problems with spiders in our apartment but a pest controller was sent and we had no problems afterward. The commute for myself and my husband was convenient. The pool and playground were always kept up.

Is this property managed by AIMCO? If so that would explain the negative coments. And I am a military wife. While I'm "staying home" all day I'm doing the chores of both husband and wife while cutting corners every place I can because employers don't want to hire someone who "isn't going to be here long term".

@ 1/31/2008 1. Yes, frogs, that's what it says right? Yes, I'm serioius. 2. I'm a bit sad that it sounds like you only trust something if it's "the talk of the town". @rhodgen That's what reviews are. Your personal experience and your opinion based on that. @ 11/04/2009 What? I had no idea. It's a good thing that you brought that to my attention. Same thing to you, it was my personal experience and I simply stated it. I'm not saying that you can't find frogs, car being broken into and paper thin walls anywhere else. I'm just letting people know I found all of that goodness and more at the same place.
