The reviews and ratings on here are somewhat biased as most people will only take the time to write a review when they are dissatisfied.
The management staff as well as the maintenance staff are wonderful to work with. They are kind, accomodating, knowledgeable, and always available during office hours. They are extremely friendly and respectful to personal property and privacy. Shortly after moving in to our first apartment, we had a flooding issue from the upstairs apartment. When I went to the office, they walked right over with me to evaluate the damage. Servpro was there within 45 minutes cleaning up all the water. Once dried out, the structural damage was more extensive than initially thought and immediately we were offered several options. We chose to stay in the community and moved into another apartment. Without asking, we were offered a moving company to get our stuff to the new apartment. The manager even called the day the moving men were there and brought us pizza for lunch.
They have routine pest control/spraying for bugs. I have never seen more than a mosquito or a tiny spider in the apartment. So I have no idea where these roach comments are coming from.
Jet noise is not as bad as some of these reviews make it out to be. And to be honest, the jet base was here before you were. If it is so menacing to you, move to Hampton. LOL.
The rent is very competitively priced for the ammenities included. The units have washer and dryer included which is a huge perk. All apartments are private entry. The location is very centrally located in VA Beach. Can get pretty much anywhere you would want to go in town within 15 minutes. I can rarely hear the neighbors. Out of any apartment I have ever lived in, the noise through the walls and ceiling is almost unnoticeable at Auburn Place.
