Not a place to live

Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005
When I moved in I came from out of town, I didn't get a chance to view the apartment I was moving into but saw the model. Upon my moving in I was placed on the worst side of the complex directly across from the night club. Needless to say my first night was not that of peaceful sleep. I complained and the manager told me she would move me to the next available apartment. Well now it is July and I'm still where I statred. The first 5 days in my apartment I had no air conditioner, no hot water, a garbage diposal that did not function and apartment that smelled of mold. After 5 days they finally fixed the hot water, the garbage disposal broke literally every month. The commode flooded more then enough times, when I brought it to their attention that my commode was not functioning their response was is this the only bathroom in the apartment...YES its a one bedroom. Yes there were many nights of gunshots, people fighting, drug activity and constant disturbances. I am a female I spent my entire lease taking extra hours at work and staying on campus of my college just to avoid the problems. Parking is ridiculous. I had my apartment broken into. The office staff is rude and unprofessional. It took me almost 3 weeks to get an apartment verification just to be able to move out. The kept losing the fax and all they needed to do was recieve the fax, fill in a few blanks and fax it back. I would advised anyone DO NOT MOVE IN. I was so ashamed of the apartment that I didn't allow any guests into my apartment. Not to mention my neighbor had 2dogs 2cats a ton of fish and she made the entire building smell of feces. Not to mention that the walls were paper thin... I could go on trust me on that. But heed my advice and STAY AWAY.
Oh yeah they advertise a clubhouse... There isn't one.
Fitness center there isn't one either...There's lots of false advertising. I'd suggest riding through the neighborhood and seeing for yourself before signing any dotted lines.
