I am writing in hopes that people will read this and not be like me and over look these reviews. I have been married now for 2 years and we are getting ready to Start our family. My husband is In the military and this life can be very hard on people in regards to moving frequently. When my husband recieved his orders to Virginia We did not have the time or the money to drive here and look for a decent place so we did what most of you are probably doing. We searched for a decent place through the internet...Biggest mistake I have ever made....
When we came across baker crossing the pictures looked beautiful and I just fell in love with the way they renovated these apartments. I spoke to the leasing managers frequently and they assured me that If they had a choice they would love to live here and that they felt safe and it was very peaceful. Well need less to say they have apartments they need to rent so pretty much they would have said anything to get us to move in here. We moved in and for the first couple weeks things seemed okay. While signing our lease the lady said we were lucky she put us in the good part of these apartments cause on the other side of the street I guess it was really really full of crime I laughed this off...She was right about that we did get an apartment that was not as bad as some others but Its still bad. I can honestly say that no matter what the cost My family is not staying here and we are moving asap.
I read a review that said this was the ghetto I am going to have to say that everything I read about these apartments was TRUE......
I do not recomend these apartments to anyone
I also feel like the pet guidlines are off the charts
a 200 dollar pet deposit non refundable and 50 dollars per month per pet for rent thats out rageuos and I feel like Im being punished for having animals
