The management here are nice to you un-till you move in and then they turn into Jeckle. Yah they renovated, but the apt you get is crap. Half done work to the walls. Bath water won't drain in apt(they've been here 6 times to "fix it") I also found mold in my "newly renovated apt". (And it was in the furnace room)

I've found bugs every place, and called but the office allways seem to lose our request for matnince. Also I can hear our nabors who have a child in a one bedroom who screams at all times of day and night. Paper thin walls =(
Also nobody picks up the dog droppings, so you better watch where you step, guess they forgot to read the newsletter about picking it up.

Not to mention the latest brick tossing, I had a brick tossed into my car and also a nabor did also, plus the hoodlems broke windows in the pool house.

Police are here for shootings and what not almost every day. Do yourself a favor take a look around the whole property before moving in, just not around the office.

maybe if you cleaned your bathroom you wouldnt have mold!! Dont you have anything better to do than to complain about trucks with outdated plates and trees that smack you in the face? You deserve to get smacked in the face if you have no sense to walk around it. And about your nabors by the way * we spell it neighbors * if you dont like the noise buy a house!!!! Perhaps you should go back to school and learn to spell instead of spending all your time complaining about trivial issues. I have lived in these apartments for years now. Since they have become Baker Crossing Apartments and the renovations have been done, I assure you it is a much better place to live.

I have lived in these apartments for 4 years now. And things are alot better under the new managment. If you had read the last news letter they put out they told the dog owers to clean up the "land mines". I love that they have put in new lighting in the parking lots as well as our hallways. If I had mold in my bathroom I am smart enough to know bleach kills mold I don't need the maintnance to come clean my bathroom. The yard work and tree triming is kept up very well. As for the truck........there is alot of parking here. Some requires I walk a little more but I always have a place to park. The maintance crew is always on top of this property. I have even seen them out picking up trash because people were too lazy to throw it away them selves. They are respectful of the residents and kind.

WELL FIRST OFF NEVER SAID MOLD WAS IN BATHROOM AND YES I KNOW BLEACH KILLS MOLD. AND APERENTLY YOU BOTH LIVE NEAR THE OFFICE, CAUSE LIGHTING,SUCKS HERE. AND I WATCH DAILY PEOPLE WALK THEIR DOGS AND LET THEM ---- AND WALK OFF NEVER PICKING IT UP, SO I GUESS THEY MISSED THE NEWS LETTER. I NEVER SAID ANYTHING BAD ABOUT MATINCE THEIR FINE IT'S THE OFFICE I HAVE THE PROB WITH, THEY SEEM TO LOOSE ALL REQUESTS FOR ANYTHING.

we had the same problems with the office. they always seemed to forget to come out and fix what we called about. the maintenance was great when they got the work orders

My husband and I had been considering this place, but after reading some of the reviews I'm not sure I want to live here. Is this place the ghetto? I mean some residents can't even spell "neighbor" and it seems like there is quite the crime problem. Is there anywhere in Virginia Beach or Norfolk that is nice, safe, and clean?
