i am very disapointed i have problems everyday with this place. i had problems with mold,my sliding glass door did not have a lock,it took them two weeks to come out and put one on, when it was just me and my 8 month old while waiting for my husband to get back from deployment. i had just moved in then. water leakage in the bedroom walls by the windows.i still have problems with ants and cockroaches .i live on the bottom floor. it sucks i cant wait to move out of here. my neigbors are ------- annoying they stomp one the floor on purpose because i have asked and hit the ceiling to stop and proceded to do it so i had to call the cops three times that night. they were haveing a party too that night. umm oh i can hear EVERYTHING through the walls. lets just say the girl upstairs is a screamer who thinks shes in a porn movie.lol is sucks when my child looks up at the ceiling terrified. my bathroom sinks when i turn them on it smells like sewer water. im afraid to drink it. i told baker crossing about it and they just came out and poured cleaner down the drain. didnt do a damn thing. i just got a letter in the mail from the managment sayin they are having a meeting on the crimes and police reports in in since 2006 and 2008. there has been 1,000 POILCE REPORTS,77 REPORTS OF DESRUCTION OF PROPERTY,60 ASSULTS REPORTED,22 RESIDENTAL BURGARLARIES,AND 10 ROBBERIES:A HOMiSIDE AND CARJACKING OCCURED. i want the hell out of here what can i do to get out of the lease' im so scared i dont even want to leave my appartment at night. im so scared. i do see alot of drug dealing and hoodlins walking around cursing, oh and a while ago a little girl next door would sipt at me and my son and my car and one day i was standing outfront with my son and she through a ball at me and m son and called me WHITY. while her parents stood there and saw every thing . i dont think any decent person should have to deal with this crap i feel like i live in a hood. DONT MOVE HERE unless your use to this nonsense!!!!

I am wondering what part of Bakers Crossing do you live in. I hear there are three parts: the same side as the rental office (next to Lake Edwards-hoodville-), the other part is on the other side of Bakers Rd, and the third section is all the way down hampshire in the back. I am assuming the section in the back is the best area to live since it is not close to Lake Edwards..anyone have any experience in this part of teh neighborhood? I am considering moving out there....

Hey, if you want to try to get out of your lease, go to the rent office and tell them that you are not comfortable living there because of the crime. That's what me and my husband did, and we were able to get out of our lease. We had to give them a 30 day notice though and pay a termination fee of one month's rent, but at least we're now living in a much safer neighborhood. I say it's worth it!!
