Not worth the money...

Years at this apartment: 2009 - 2009

I moved in last year from another state, sight unseen. The ratings at that time gave me the impression that the development was under change, but shaping up really well. I knew I had made a mistake when the moving truck got to my apartment and there was a "neighbor" standing right outside of my door looking at everything going into my apartment. That was one of several neighbors that kept the music blaring DAILY in the evenings and on weekends. The police was called to this particular building every weekend for noise, fighting, or domestic altercations. When I asked the management to intervene with the excessive noise, I was told that they did not; and to call the police. I pay $1,239 a month - for that kind of money, the development should have a policy for noise, trash (littering), and loitering that should be strictly enforced. There is no guest parking on the grounds. My guests had to part about 1 to 2 blocks away (outside of the parking lot). My unit was entered (with a key) without my permission and an expensive necklace was taken from an obvious location on my dresser. When I wrote to inquire about who had access to my unit, the Property Manager claimed to have looked into it but found no basis for the claim. She told me to file a Renters Insurance claim. Lastly, too much trash accumulated 3mPoZ6gGN6wTPgNi4L2C

I share similar concerns with the above poster. The area is Ghetto! I have never felt safe around the premises. I'm not sure if it's the people themselves who make me weary, or if it's the police that constantly cruise the complex. Either way, it makes me feel like I'm living in a trashy area. Speaking of trash, it is really out of control. People get "free sale flyers" almost daily and choose to scatter them across the parking lot and in the yard area. I have neighbors who use their own grills (close to the plastic siding), blast music at all hours, and a ridiculously heavy footed (or overweight) upstairs neighbor who stomps around her unit at ALL hours. I hear it all. I can't wait to leave these apartments. I love all people, and try my hardest not to ever discriminate but seriously - I'm sick of feeling like the white in an Oreo cookie!

I cant speak on the apartment but the houses that are near them arent bad. I do tend to see alot of children and teens outside but after a certain time I see the police moving them along and inside their houses. I ride pass this complex all the time and there is never any parking, but realistically I have seen much worse... Oh and these apartments definitely dont look like they are worth $1200 a month...
