Appliances are ancient (circa 1985 or so), drywall is cracking, daylight under the door, A/C needs recharging...Summer electricity bills average $150/mo for inefficient A/C

Annual increases in rent, unjust billing practices for water (increased usage for upkeep or washroom leaks showed up as increase of monthly amount - average $40/month)

Pool is decent, but staffing is poor and open hours are screwed up - open evenings, but closed on the weekends...
Landscaping is lousy - mulch everywhere, no grass to speak of around the front of the apartments and the "yard" behind the buildings are so littered with doggie dookey it is unusable - big bushes no trimming - gutters packed with crud

Palmetto bugs (steroidal cockroaches) are everywhere - inside and out. Termites appear twice a year as well.

Size is adequate, but if we were transistional we would not stay.
