My husband and I have lived here at Bancroft Hall for 2 years now on Hornet Court, and we lived on Kearsarge Court for 1 year... Since moving in the has been so many problems; from the foundation in our apartment sinking, water leaking from everywhere to the heater spitting out flames... The Mgmt has been no help at all, maintance never takes care of problems (it has been two years for some of my complaints) I have got the city involved and that hasnt been much help either... The people up stairs from us always fight and run up and down the stairs knocking my pictures off of my walls... When we first moved in on Kearsarge Court our water bill was around $26-$30 a month in 2003, now for the past two years of living on Hornet Court the bill has jumped up to $45-$50 a month from 2004-2006... I have contacted the Great Atlantic MGMT Company and they say that there is nothing that they can do except pass on our problems to the office... We have had problems with bugs, and lots of water leaks...(No wonder why our water bills are so high)... My husband and I do not recommend moving into these apartments! They are trash! It feels like we live in the ghetto!
