My husband and I lived in a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment at Banyan Grove for 7 months, when we were told that we needed to move to another apartment cause the man below us didn't like children. My husband was on deployment when I was told that they already rented out our apartment, but they reserved a 3 bedroom one for us. Not only did I have to move by myself with 2 children, but they made me pay a transfer and new security fee, eventhough they requested we transfer apartments. When I confronted one of the leasing specialists about my neighbors complaints about my 3 and 2 year old running by him yelling daddy she responded with well he is an officer in the Navy. They definitely had their favorites. The problems didn't stop there. When I moved to the 3 bedroom on 2 occasions I received notes on my door that they never received my rent. When I called and spoke to the assistant property manager she was like oh I forgot to put it in the system but we have it. Finally in May my husband received orders to another state and we were able to leave, but of course that was a battle. Think twice before you move in.
