My husband and I had a similar experience from a customer service standpoint. Apparently a change in management was made recently and the young lady who was appointed property manager doesn't know the first thing about how to treat current and potential tenants. She is unprofessional in her mannerisms and interaction and dresses in an unflattering way for being a nice looking young lady. If not for the other two young ladies in the office (one of whom friends of ours had a similar terrific renting experience with at another local property over a year ago) and the groundskeeping/maintenance staff which we found to be top notch, Banyan wouldn't be a place we'd recommend. Hopefully the woman running the office now is temporary and things will go back to normal when she is replaced internally or from an outside source.

I am currently a resident at Banyon Grove and have been for several years. I have had nothing but pleasant interactions with every person on the staff from the leasors to the maintenance all the way to the top management. Not being one to usually post reviews, I felt it necessary to comment on this post. Why is it always the bitter miserable people in this world that semm to always have to make negative remarks with the hope it may make someone else or a group of people for that matter come down to their level of misery. Lets face it, is it necessary to make a remark about someones weight on a website deigned to discuss apartments. Come on people, grow up. If I was that immature I would keep my post anonymous too. I agree with this tennant. I am very happy with everyone associated with the management and maintenance team. Shame on you people who are out to hurt this lovely complex.

My hats off to Team Banyan. You all are doing a great job and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. Don't change a thing. And for the miserable ones.....not worth the comment.

Just wanted to say that I had a problem that was resolved by Joy the manager, and that I will wait till I leave to give my final summary. To give fair credit to all involved though, the perks and the facilities are great and most of the staff are great, especially Jim the maintainence man. Much credit to the asst manager for her staunch loyalty, and to the manager for her calm attitude and conciliatory manner when I had a problem with a staff person.
