First off I have lived here for close to 2 years. These apartments are pretty nice as far as apartments go. I would recommend them to any of my friends for a place to live. Now there are some things you should know before choosing to live here. Moving into a 2nd-3rd floor apt will not be fun since there are no elevators. You can have pets but be prepared to pay pretty good money for it. The price for rent is high but you have nice ammeneties which if a gym, car wash, copier, fax, 2 pc's, pool and a "movie theater" is what your looking for then you have a good deal here. We found ourselves seldom utilizing any of it. There is a pretty nice setup for dogs here. There are BBQ grills that you can use if the propane is not empty or your lovely apt. mates dont fill them with charchol. Pool is nice but only goes to like 4.5 feet deep and is usually crowded with kids. The maintenance staff is pretty good about fixing things and they change out your filters on a regular basis. The garage rent is over priced. On the other hand if you have a boat or trailer you can park it for free in designated parking spots near the club house. These apts. are fairly new so thats a plus but I have heard and seen big problems with mold here. I have been lucky in that area as far as I know (it could be in the walls). The office staff are pretty good too but dont expect any flexability, they stick to thier rules without bending to help the tennant (which is good in most cases until its you trying to get something done). Parking is first come first serve so if you work banker hours you'll have no problem getting close to your door. Water heaters are like half sized so take quick showers. Since the rent is higher than the norm for the area it tends to keep out the undesirable tennants which was nice. If you live near the pool/clubhouse it can get pretty noisy at times when people like to throw parties out in the court yard. If you live on the 2nd-3rd floor your heating bill is pretty low because the heat rises from the apts. below you. All in all I was pleased with this place. I have lived in over 20 apts/houses and in 3 countries and I learned you cant have everything and there's no such thing as a perfect place to live. Reason why we are moving' Good question.... we figure why pay $1520 when we can spend $1800 and own a much bigger and nicer house that will in turn be an investment for our future.

I am wondering what they would write after moveout? I look forward to writing a very nice one if there are no problems because Joy the manager was quite conciliatory today after we had a meeting with my friend, the associate pastor of my church, who witnesssed the meeting. Truthfully she is very loyal to her staff and at first I took that to be her lacking in willingness to previously correct what is hoped was merely a misunderstanding. Before the problem I loved this place. I now look forward to a nice remaining stay here, and move out to a home I bought with no further problems. I really respect Joy, she handled today's meeting well. The staff is generally very helpful and does go the extra mile for the most part when you move in. I am revising my earlier comments. Just advise everyone in any situation to always have clear honest communication, read closely what you sign, insist on changes or dont sign it and dont take verbal promises if they arent able to be in writing. Then things can only go well. This is a beautiful place. I hope everyone who wants to live here truly enjoys it and can recommend Banyon Grove to others. Amen!
