I've lived in MUCH worse places. Let me tell you.. The parking is great. I have had no problems finding a spot right in front of my apartment. First of all, if you want to live in VA beach you have to live with the jet noise. There is no way around it. Even if you lived in a million dollar house, you will have jet noise. If you do not like this then you must live farther away. When I first moved in, I got new carpet and new cabinets. The washer and dryer were broken but I got two brand new ones within a few days. Every issue I had when I walked in here were fixed. The bad side, the water went off a few times without notice. I have twin newborns who use powder formula. I was not happy that I was not told about the water problem. Although it went on about 15 minutes later. Regardless, its not fair that you get no notice. The other gripe is the parking for the visitors. My mother was here for an hour and had her car towed. $125 later, she gets her car back. She has the same sticker on her car as the one that we have. The only difference is the apartment letters. The only way the tow truck company saw this was if they went up to her car and looked at it. Really creepy and very shady. I know that they regulate the parking but, give me a break. The leasing office is amazing. There really nice and very family oriented. I have had no problems getting anything fixed or addressing my issues. If I needed anything faxed, they were there for me. They also hand deliverd my papers since I have twins and a toddler at home. I have had no problems with the neighbors. Even the guy upstairs is kind. They also have people all around the apartment complex keeping things clean and well kept. I guess its all in luck. I have been happy ever since I moved here.

You must be crack bunny or you work for the office. This is the nastiest place in VA beach stay away. If you don't mind the jet noise?? if you think thats the only problem then you haven't lived there long. There are crack heads in the laundry rooms, drunks hanging out next to the no loitering signs and the office people are just plain nasty. When I first moved in and my AC was broken, in July, they told me to draw my curtains to help make it colder. Take a box over this place, you would be better off.

I've lived here in Birdneck Village since Feb '03. I agree with Misvenus000. The office staff are very friendly to me. They've gone out of their way in some cases to accommodate requests that I've made. The maintenance staff has repaired the very few problems I've had in a very short time. My neighbors are friendly and quiet. I've had no problems. I'd have no problems staying but I may be retiring soon and will probably move to another state. Birdneck Village isn't my problem, it's the Virginia taxes.

Just so you all know, I still have had no problems. I have been here since october and I still have the same review. If you want to read my review on my previouse house before this one check it out "the commons at white marsh" That will tell you how bad I had it and how great this place is. If you never lived in baltimore maryland "ghetto" You have no idea what bad is.
