We moved in to a two bedroom at the end of july. We have had one problem, a leaky fawcet in the kitche and it was fixed the same day. The office staff is awesome, very friendly and outgoing. The pool was always clean and the tenates always clean up after there dogs. Every morning the grounds keepers pick up all the trash around the complex(there really isnt that much) and blow all the leaves and pine needles off the walkway. The grounds are beautiful. You have an assigned parking space and can ernt another for $40 a month. There are guest spaces and plenty of them, you might have to walk a little but it isn't bad. The balconys are beutiful and well built. The lake is awesome and stalked with fish. It is a closed enviroment with a night security gaurd. I hate to move but my husband got reassigned to Florida. Our other apartment(domnion waterside, see review), our truck got broken into. Our rent was acctually $899 but we have two dogs and it is $20 a month for each pet. Our last place it was $25.

I beg to differ. No one cleans up after their pets. I, as well as my roommate and our guests have had several incidents stepping in residents' pets' leftovers.. it smells outside. Although the balcony view over the lake is nice, the lake being so close has caused us several issues with bugs. Waterbugs. Cockroaches have also been an issue recently.. kitchen ceiling, bathroom floor, even on our couch in the living area! The complex does have pest spray, it just doesnt seem to be very effective. We sign up to be sprayed every thursday and still see the bugs. Security does not stay on the complex grounds all night. The jet noise is UNREAL over these apartments. From 8am to after 9pm roaring jets fly over what seems to be 100 feet over my apartment every day. The jet noise is horrible. The complex could most definitely use some new fixtures. Outdated kitchen, bathroom, and hallway lighting. Poorly built drawers, closet doors, both bedroom closet doors and laundry room doors have fallen off in our apartment. The drawer in the bathroom falls out of the vanity every time I open it. The bar counter in the kitchen wobbles.. I dont think its even attached to the wall.. Overall the complex needs some improvement. Its not worth what youre charged every month.

That's wierd. i have never seen dog poop other than what our dogs leave and we pick up after them. We have had no problems with door or anything like that. I don't live with a lake view so we haven't had problems with bugs. OUr fixtures seem to be fairly new. and compared to what we lived in before, this place kicks butt. Everybody has different experiances. WHile the security gaurd does not stay here all night it is secluded and i am not araid to walk at night. Dominion waterside was open, acroos the street are a bunch of duplexes where a lot of crime and drugs are. the safety alone is worth it to me. I was afraid to go to sleep at night. Our entry way is always lit so we can see who is at the door. Almost all of our direct neighbors are navy. Report the people leaving the dogs mess the office will fine them twice and evict on third time. All i smell is the enormouse pine trees on the front of our complex. The jet noise is going to change once the reopen one of the runways, and the bad jet noise is farely recent. Have you ever thought about moving apartments to one away from the lake so the bugs are less
