This place sucks! Ok, so it was great when we first moved here, but then things started going downhill. We were told that a '300 lb' woman constantly ran on a treadmill on the 3rd floor. The neighbor below reported it to the office and the office manager said that it wasn't true that the floors are really sturdy. Whatever! We have a larger woman living above us on the 3rd floor and it sounds like a herd of elephants, no offense to the lady...just Chapel Lake. The bathroom has mold around the tiles in the tub, and the tiles are broken and glued together again. They half ass painted the place, although the walls are not white, they are an off-white or yellow if you will. Like a canary yellow. Nice color though. The appliances are old. They claim to be relacing them, starting with the 3rd floor--yet they should replace them as soon as someone moves out, DUH! The refridgerator is older than me! They do not have enough RESIDENT parking spaces. All the visitor spaces are in front of the complex and we live in the middle. Our balcony is about to fall through. The wood is rotted and the nails are coming up, boards too. We have started to get ROACHES!!! When it rains mostly. They only come in from the balcony door and stay in the living room for some reason. I never see them in the kitchen or anywhere else...just the living room near that door. On top of the HORRIBLE parking, they have a stupid towing company, Affordable Towing, that doesn't know the laws. So, if you're out of state WATCH YOUR CAR!!! The towing company WRECKED our car after ILLEGALLY towing our car for expired tags...which were NOT expired yet! Yea, we're furious....the Navy may be blacklisting this complex soon...so BE AWARE! If we end up staying here we WILL be moving!
