Worst place I ever lived- please read!

I lived here for only 2 months (luckily received new orders!) and i have to say this is the worst place i ever lived. The condition of the apartments are horrendous. The patch work on the walls look like they were done by children. No sanding to a fine finish. Just globs of drywall repair paste and paint over it. They did no walkthrough prior to me moving in. The dryer was busted, the toilet was busted, and the hot water tank was busted when i did my initial walkthrough. They did "upgrade" my apartment prior to me moving in with a new fridge and stove, but that didn't do much to ease my opinion about this place.
The place is relatively quiet....after 9pm when most of the jet noise stops. If you MUST move here, beware if you are not on the top floor. I had a 1st floor apartment and I had to listen to every noise my upstairs neighbor would make. Not becuase they were loud, but becuase the walls are thin (and i mean thin!!). When my upstairs neighbors would walk, you could literally see the ceiling bend under thier steps and make a horrible reverberating sound through the apartment. They also liked to get busy at 4am every day if ya know what I mean.
Finally, the area is not very well lit inside and out. Within less than a month, someone broke into mine and three other neighbors vehicles. The damage done to my new truck was $3000. The outlets and switches are poorly located to get proper lighting in the apartment as well.
Parking sucks if you wish to have guest as well. If you live in the back of the complex, your guest will need to park all the way up front and take a 5 min walk, or you have to go get them.
On my moving out walkthrough, i found water damage in my walkin closet coming from the foundation itself and a black mold was developing. The one positive I do have to say is that their maintenece staff is very courtious and helpful, but they are always busy (meaning there is plenty of work being done!)
Finally, they still owe me a refund and i'm having to track it down. I hope this review was beneficial in your decision making.

Don't expect to ever get your refund. We were owed a refund of $500 but instead they tried to bill us for almost $2000 in damages that were pre-existing. They "grudgingly" settled for a smaller amount, but they probably didn't correct the problem and will do the exact same thing to the next tenant.

How did you get them to take down the price?
