The office staff is awesome!! Katy and Brett are ALWAYS willing to help! Jamie, the property manager, is always busy, but is the most friendly guy you'll ever meet. Maintenance is also super friendly! It is an older apartment complex, but they all know that and so they try to come out quickly and take care of any maintenance issues. I don't have any complaints. Any issues I've ever had has always been resolved! I couldn't be happier and I will definitely be renewing for another year!

Jamie is the most phony little man I've ever met. I saw right through the "buddy buddy" act pretty quickly. The rest of the staff will be gone in a year, so why bother getting to know their names? None of them last long at this place.

I am looking into moving to Chapel lake soon but I am seriously concerned with the reviews I am finding. Is anyone willing to truly give me their insight on the property and the management team specifically?

DO NOT LIVE THERE!!! I agree with the person who left this review...we lived there for 2 years and the maintenance is terrible. We always got the same guy with the lisp to come out and he wreaked of smoke and half assed everything. We constantly got "water bugs" so they called them but I was not born yesterday and know what a damn cockroach looks like. They come out one day a week to do a crappy job of spraying for bugs and spray all over your furniture. When we first moved in I called maintenance to come out and replace a knob on my bathroom sink that fell apart. The guy came out and somehow ended up getting water all over my bathroom floor and on the carpet in my bedroom. He then has the nerve to ask me if I had a towel he could use to clean up his mess. ALL I NEEDED WAS A NEW KNOB!!! The neighbors there are very loud and inconsiderate. People constantly screaming in the breezeways and slamming doors. Sounds like a shotgun going off when someone wants to be lazy and slam the door. I would not recommend that place for anyone.

The management team is bad. Jamie is the only person who has been there for any length of time. The other employees turn over about every month or two. The maintenance people are ill-prepared fools. A guy who was about 4'10" came to change the fluorescent tube in the kitchen and didn't bother to bring a stepladder. He stood on one of my dining room chairs and stained the cushion with his nasty footprints. Everyone is really friendly until you've signed the paperwork, then they couldn't give a damn about you.

I couldn't disagree more! The girls in the office have been there for at least a year. Most people don't understand the nature of that kind of industry...I do because I used to work in the field in college. It's extremely difficult...you deal with people and where they live and you tell me how mean someone can be. I was personally in the office paying my water bill and witnessed a resident come in and yell at one the girls about kids playing in the neighborhood. People are quick to complain and I'm here to commend them. You catch more flies with honey than vinegar. I was trained to treat others as I would want to be treated, well it goes the same way when you're the resident. If you need something from them, yelling at them is not going to convince them to go the extra mile for you. Consider that before you complain about someone. I may need to put a work order every now and then because something breaks...you could live in a brand new house and something would break at some point. The maintenance person you are speaking about has always fixed my work orders just fine...I've had no problems.
