Before I even moved in I found the staff to be very unhelpful. First of all the apartment that I initially put down the deposit for fell thru. They stated that the person who was moving had changed his mind but they found me an exact same apartment with the same move-in date. A week before I was to move in, I was told that the apartment was not available ant the tenants were no longer moving out. With no place to live I wandered around VA Beach desparately searching for an apartment. After sever arguments with the management, they told me that they had found me an apartment. On the move-in date, I conducted a walk thru however the inside of the apartment was very dark and I could not see what lurked beneath the surface. There were no lights yet in the apartment. After moving in and turning on the electricity, I discovered a nasty and disgusting apartment. The window sills were covered in mold and thick dirt. It did not look as if they had been cleaned in years. The apartment was musty and stink. The walls looked as if my 10 year old had painted them. The carpet was stink and filthy. The apartment had the original cabinets and mirrors. They looked as if they were 40 years old. They had never been upgraded. The carpet and window sills had dead flies and dog hair. When I steam cleaned the carpet I picked up a large bagful of dog hair. The bath tubs were nasty and the wood in the bathroom cabinets smelled of rotting, old wood. There was dog feces surrounding the apartment. The residents would not clean up after their dogs. I moved out after a week because management would not address any of my issues. This is the worst apartment I have ever lived in. I could not even cook inside the week I stayed there. It was just too NASTY
