I currently live there and it sucks big time. My boyfriend and I live in a one bedroom apartment there. We have had nothing but nasty attitudes from Management and mantience.
When we first moved in everything was okay our downstairs neighbors were very quiet and everyone seemed very nice. Our neighbor below us moved out and this couple who is very inconsiderite desides to play loud, rap, music with the base turned up all the way until 3 in the morning on a weekday. I have called the apartment complex 4 different times complaining of this problem and nothing seems to be getting through to them. The old management told me that if I had three complaints against them that they would be killed out..well its been 4 and they are still there. It has been so bad that I had to call the police. All the apartment complex does is send them notices and it doesn't help at all.

Then the carpet beetles! YUCK! The apartment complex is infested with them its so nasty. The pest guy comes out every week and sprays my apartment and its to the point that my apartment smells like the spray he is using.

Thrid the mantience people are lazy and stupid! I guess my new loud downstairs neighbors had a link from our tub. So the apartment complex just let mantience come into my apartment without contacting me or anything to let me know. Well, the jerk regrouted our tub and decided to use my expensive trash can in my bathroom to clean off his tools and got grout all over my trash can. When I called and complained about it the apartment complex said sorry. They have done nothing to acommidate the situsion. So I just let mangement know that the mantience people are not a loud in my apartment unless my boyfriend or myself is there. I honeslty don't think they understood that cause the same day they came out and fixed my door and I didn't know about it until I got home. The third time they finally called and I had to leave work just to babysit a 40 or 50 year old man to make sure he didn't ruin anything else of mine or try stealing from me.

But since new management has been there I guess they didn't get the memo so now I have to fight the battle all over again with mantience and being in my apartment.


Honestly I would say RUN AWAY AND NEVER LOOK BACK! P.S. IF YOU LIKE AIR CONDITIONING THEN RUN AWAY! SEk1KnECheF1ATXbXtrZ

You know what the maintence guys SUCK! I called them on Friday and to come and fix my ac again for the second time. Well when I came home on Friday from work it was 80 degrees in my apartment and no note from maintence staing that they had been there. I am 6 months pregnant and that kind of heat is dangerous to my health and my unborn childs health. I called them as soon as I got home and the lady name Ashley told me that she would send someone out there right away considering I am pregnant. Well no one came so i called the emergency line and it states someone will call you within the hour. Well no one called so i called again. Finally the manager in the leasing department called me and told me since it was not 80 degrees outside I need to open a window( which I already had done) and wait until Monday. I'm sorry but its plan -------- to have a pregnant woman sitting in a apartment that is 80 degrees. She was very rude and nasty to me. I am going to call there Corporation and see if something can get done because I refuse to live in a place where I feel like I have to suffer cause they are to lazy to get someone out there who knows what they are doing to fix a problem. The bad thing is I am a woman and I know what is wrong with the ac it has a short in it. The stupid maintenace people changed the breaker and said oh that should fix it.......ummm no! I swear if its not fixed by tonight they will wish they had fixed it.

Good luck. I tried to complain to the property management company (Great Atlantic at the time, it may still be them), and they blew me off. I imagine they have had to blow off many other people than me as well. When I looked up lawyers that represent renters, the only firm I found in the phone book... well, they represent Great Atlantic. Go figure.
