This review is to complain about Community problems at Chase Arbor Apartments. I recently moved into a one bedroom one bathroom apartment in June 2008. There were a few issues of poor workmanship with maintenance/ property manager and lease agents. At first things seemed fine, I moved in completed the list of things that needed to be repaired which should have been done before a tenant moves in and sent it to the office. That s where things seemed to go downhill. When the job did get done it was done very unprofessional. When I tried to call the main office, -------and -------were both very rude on the phone towards me as if I should not call to bring the issue up with them or as if it was not their issue.
I called numerous of times and still the same attitudes prevailed over and over. I read up on Chase Arbor reviews a month later and realized I m not the only one who has these issues with the maintenance and/or the office staff.Needless to say, I am quite frustrated.
I expected a much higher level of service from the Property staff, and I am quite disappointed. If this situation does not get corrected in the best manner possible, I will be informing my friends and family about this experience as a few wanted to move in. if this presist i will be calling ten on your side and letting it be known how this really is and i will try and get a petition signed from all tenants who want a change.dont let the looks on the outside fool you or the fakeness of the smile on the office teams faces

I subscribed to this apartment because I lived at Chase for 2 years. I keep telling people that if their situation is so bad to call an attorney. My wife and I have a Pre-Paid Legal Membership and we aren't afraid to use it. I don't know how we lived without it, oh I do know, we complained about things and did nothing about it. It is NOT too late to break your lease but be careful they have a very shady attorney representing them. Levy is his name and he put all kinds on lies on my credit. If you are in the service you can tell your CO or who ever to call the office . You can ALERT the hopusing office on the base or whoever told you about the slum. THEY (office) will not change. They have no class and are a dime a dozen. In reality you moved into a really low classs place-Remenber they got comission on yur apt. Also call Code Enfocement for Va. Beach (just call the operator) they will come in access the probelm and give them a threatening letter that if something isn't done they will go to court. That worked for me. Good Luck thank God I no longer live in Va.
