This was by far the worst apartment living experience I have ever had in my life. So much so that I will never rent again from a company, only a private landlord.
When we moved in, multiple things were wrong with the apartment. We filled out the 5 day form, and it took two months for them to begin working on the problems. We never had a balcony screen (asked for one several times) so we could never open the balcony window. THERE WAS BLACK MOLD IN OUR BATHROOM. My fiance began to have severe allergic reactions to it, and after two months of complaining about it, they came and bleached the spot. DID NOT HELP. Our oven broke and it took maintenance FIVE DAYS to come and fix it. We do not have a microwave, only an oven and use it to do all our cooking. WE COULD NOT COOK FOR FIVE DAYS. We called twice every single day with the promise that someone would come and fix it that day. NEVER HAPPENED. When they finally came to fix it they were rude. The walls are very thin, we heard our neighbors having sex every single time they had sex. THE CRIME RATE IS HIGH! Check the local police department, or go online and you can see for yourself. THE MANAGER IS A HORRIBLE WOMAN! They all seem very sweet when you are a prospective tenant, but sign your name on the dotted line and all hell breaks loose.
What they don't tell you is that you have an additional monthly fee for the water bill... MONTHLY! I have friends nearby who pay $50 for their water bill quarterly and at Chase Arbor, the water bill STARTS at $30 a month for a one bedroom and goes up according to the size of your apartment. I know I don't use that much water. The rent is extremely high and NOT WORTH IT. You can find another apartment for $200 less rent and you will have a better experience, SHOP AROUND!
Overall, the experience was horrible and you can become a tenant at your own risk.... but it is a risk I would not recommend taking!
