I am a travel nurse, and I have lived in more than 10 different apt. complexes in 7 different states over the last 10 years. I must say I was in total shock to see my company was forking over $1600/mo for a temp. lease. I was in more shock when I saw this outdated 20 year old apt. No controlled access, 1 parking spot per apt, aged appliances, limited hot water, poor heating and air, poor insulation, securtity rides through parking lot 2x a night, wow!, poor paint job, fixtures falling apart in bathroom. Now the noise, it is intollerable! All night and all day booming loud radios that shake the 3rd floor windows. I hear glasses in cabinets shaking on the 3rd floor from car radios in parking lot! Also, lots of shady character hanging out in parking lots all hours of the night. The management seems unable or unwilling to do anything about the situation. Futhermore, I felt my privacy was invaded when I got a note stating apt. inspections would be done sometime during the month of Feb. and that appointments would not be made. Bascially, they were saying we can come in your apt. without your knowledge, or permission, and you cant stop us because you have only one door lock and we have the key. Oh yeah, the state of the art fitness center costs $10 for a key has maybe 3 pieces of equipment and is the size of a tool shed.
