Where do I start!

First off everything was okay until the warm weather came and so did the cockroaches. Thankful they stayed outside for the most part we had one come in our bathroom from the drain. I understand these are common in Virginia but if I worked for a apartment compex that is suppose to be nice then I would hire someone to come and spray every week to get rid of these and not just when the people renting from u call and ----- about it.

Second maintience people are a joke! They were suppose to fix a leak but instead of fixing it they decided to just paint over it! Then when I called them and told them to come in and honestly fix it like it is suppose to be fixed, they decided to tell magement that my boyfriend cussed them out and told the mantience man to leave.
I had my boyfriend go down to magemenet and talk to the property manger and she claimed shew oudl take care of it, well when she called back she basically told me my b/f was a liar. So when mantience came back out they just painted over it again. Luckly we got out of the lease due to the fact they charge u for everything. When your payment is a day late its a hundred and nineteen dollar late fee. Now come on we were paying 1150 for a two bedroom two bath and you want to charge us that much for a late fee....

Then when we broke the lease they treated us like crap until we finally did move out.

I don't know about the roach issues you had, but I've been living here for 2 years and never had a problem. I even asked the office staff about the exterminator after reading this, and they actually have someone come in twice a month for routine maintenance, and extra during the season changes, plus immediately if anyone notices a bug problem. As for rent, I know for a FACT that they give you a 5 day grace period, because I had to pay on the 3rd. As for maintenance, I haven't had a leak or issue like yours, so I can't comment. It sucks that you had a bad experience, and must really suck that you can't pay your rent on time.

Well, number one the roaches are common here in Virginia you would know that if you have lived there for two years. Second, we have always paid our rent on time, this was due to the fact if you must know that we were both out of state like its any of your business and we put it in the drop box the night we got back which was the 5th day and still got charged. Yes the exterminator does come out twice a month but you have to call to be put on the list everytime. The apartment I live at now you call once they come out til the problem is gone. Was for the leak you honestly can't comment cause you didn't live in my apartment.....
