My family and I have lived at Eastwind for over a year. We are still here. The parking is not that bad considering we have 4 cars and there is more than enough room to park them. The appliances and everything else is being redone this year, wonderfully I may add. They are priced high however the size of the rooms make up for that. The office and maintenance staff are all wonderful. As for any pest control problems you may have, if you notify the office staff it is taken care off immediately. There is landscaping and the homes are beautiful. The only complaint I have is noisy floorboards, but with the floors being made of wood and being 25 years old, one cannot expect perfection. Eastwind is a wonderful place to live.
Modified 12/05- While I still think that overall Eastwind is nice, I will no longer give anyone my word that it is very safe here. We have had my car broken into (along with 7 other cars...) and several porches were looted very badly. All of this is within the last few months. When all the cars were broken into any stereo, cd's, amps and anything of the like where stolen. If you are going to move here then I seriously suggest that you get alarms put on every vehicle you have..don't learn the hard way like I did.
