This place is decent but many things that you will not like about it. When it comes to the managment its the worst I seen and I was in the area for 20 yrs. They dont take care of the maintance once you move in (unless you know the main guy and go to him direct) and the main manager treats people like crap (like hers smells like flowers, that bad). The water bill that is added does not come out right. I had a broken meter for 3 months and they charged me 2 times the amount others were being charged. Once fixed they said the would give a credit and NEVER did ( they said they did after 6 months and it was the exact same as all the other months, their excuse, water was doubled that month for everyone, yet everyones bills where the same that I talked to. Moving out they will get you on every charge they can AND the final water bill will be high also. They do not tell you how much water you use and bill for for time youre not even there PLUS if you do not pay it in 15 days, they threaten to send it to collections and put it on your credit report. THAT PLACE IS ALL ABOUT THREATS!!!!!!!! They are rude, crude and down right NOT manager material. The windows are single pane windows and will be freezing cold in the winter time and lets heat in in the summer (prepare to be cold and hot plus have very high bills in the summer and winter... your AC is not strong enough (size) for the apartment (along with the cheap windows). they have the vent right there in the living room and if you are trying to watch a movie (tv) forget it, you have to crank it up to hear when the furnace is running. They also said there was firewalls between EACH of the townhomes, yea right its just in the middle of the 6 AND you can hear EVERYTHING from the people next store and I mean everything!!! If for some reason you owe ANY amount after your rent due date, YOU WILL BE charged for being late with your rent (even if it has NOTHING to do with the rent) and it will be a full late fee.. also people next to me owed .02 cents and they charged them $91 late fee AND wouldnt take 2 cents or add it to their next months bill, so the complex took court papers out on them ( I SEEN EVERYTHING)... If you have a problem with something, they just blow you off and act like they dont care and trust me, it wouldnt be resolved... There are charges for everything you can imagine AND things they come up with from month to month. Also you cant have certain dogs there YET the maintance guy has a pit bull but no one is allowed those and other dogs NOT EVEN for a visit from someone else. I had my car keyed there, seen the cops there so many times. They send letters with stupid rules they keep changing every month and send out CRIME letters that happen to people all the time. Parking 1 one per apartment and good luck on the visiting parking (NOT ENOUGH). They hired kids to watch who comes in and out of the pool only to fire one for doing drugs while there with his friend at the pool ( I seen this going on along with others that said something to the rental office). If you are considering renting in Va Bch, THIS IS ONE PLACE I WILL WARN YOU ABOUT and anyone else I knew there wouldnt rent from dominion and eastwind again... 2nd Dominion owned place I lived it and wouldnt rent from them ever again. Problems also with the other place... If you still decide to move in, get ready for the above problems AND to get threatning letters all the time for stupid little things as stated above.. DONT have a dog and have ANY dog "POO" in your yard (even if another dog does it). I didnt even own a dog and got letters saying they will charge me $25 to clean it up... I wouldnt move there if I were you !!!!! if you do, all I can do is say I WARNED YOU!!! LOL
