i have a private entrance to a one bedroom apartment on the top floor. i only signed a 12 month lease. im already researching other apartments, hoping this next year passes quickly and safely.
i dont feel safe here at all. i hear cops every night, literally. just last week i couldve sworn i heard gun shots, but i didnt think i could have possibly made such a bad judgement call when choosing this place.. I WAS WRONG. it was on the freaking news that a man who lives a few doors down from me was mugged when leaving the gym, and SiLLy ViCtUm sprayed the guy with mase. THE MUGGER SHOT HIM 3 TIMES!!! and noone knows who it was!! unbe----ingleaveable. i am a confident person, but i am intimidated by this place. there is one nice woman who lives nearby who gave me a few tips..
if you keep to yourself and stay alert and don't open your door if there are other people nearby, you should be safe enough here, but i suggest you look elsewhere. oh, and dont give the OK for maitenence to enter without your consent. THEY'LL ROB YOU!!
i bang my head against the wall every day for signing this lease.
