For every one postive here, you get a negative in return...the price for the size apartment you get is reasonable and that is truly the only reason we stayed here for three years, obviously we were desperate. Can't complain about jet noise because I grew up in Virginia Beach, and anyway they have you sign a jet zone disclosure when you move in. But the thin walls make you hear everything (dogs, partys, tvs, radios, and yes bedroom encounters!!!) The 2nd year we lived here the a/c broke at least once a week, maintanence came within 3-4 hours and always just refilled the freon until we finally got a competent maintenace worker who arrange for us to get a totally brand new ac unit and we have not had any problems since. Maintenence otherwise has always been speedy and helpful for the simple things (door jamming, loose towel rack, clooged pipes). Exercise room is decent and open 24 hours. Never used pool. Dog poop is an annoying problem, but I really have seen and heard about that problem everywhere i go. They did do a lot of upgrades, but everything they did was external-windows, roofing, painting, even apartment number signs (who the hell cares about how those look and they were fine to begin with)---they truly need to update the appliances and obviously all the a/c units---plus we've been hearing about washer dryer hookup for three years-and still haven't seen any. now BUGS-never seen more spiders or crickets in my life, or even fleas, when we have never ever had any pets (that was an interesting three month stretch) but what gets me is the roaches-they obviously lived here before us and did not plan on ever leaving during our stay here, you see exterminators constantly throughout the complex, obviously that makes no difference to anyone.
Okay so lets end with a positive, front office staff was always extremely friendly and at least acted like they cared and the leasing office was beautiful.
