including a cardboard box under an overpass, on the ship, or in your car. The office staff is very condescending and the maintenance staff are lazy. I had to call the emergency number 3 times over a very cold weekend to have someone fix the heat and nobody showed up until monday. Nice, huh' The crime here is bad, regardless of what previous posters have told you. They bribe police to live here with reduced rent. Hearing gunshots are not a rare occurence. People will climb onto your balcony and steal things so don't leave your bikes out. There's dog poop everywhere and people have larger dogs than allowed and breeds they aren't allowed to have.Don't be a day late on your water bill because you will be threatened with a court appearance. Don't have broke blinds because then you will receive a very condescending letter from the office staff to replace them or they will come in and fix them. Enjoy the roaches and rodents that will cohabit blissfully with you and your family. And hopefully you will live in sync with your neighbors stomping up and down the stairs and slamming doors. The floors and walls are paper thin and you get to breathe cigarette smoke all day if your neighbors smoke and you can hear them downstairs or upstairs.

Bottom line, this place is the WORST place to live. I would rather live on a ship than in this place. The only way to fix these apartments is to level the whole complex and build a walmart or something where they used to be.

Oh yes..this is supposed to be a family community, but there are several registered sex offenders who also live here. With the gunshots and the little thuglets running around, it isn't a good idea to play in their graffiti ridden, dog pooped parks.

Don't let the office people bait and switch you and talk this place up. This place is not worth the day to day hassles.

If you are military family, move into housing. At least you won't have to deal with this drama. You have to pay rent to live there anyway and here you will have to pay out of pocket for utilities.

The jet noice is loud, but the least of the nuisances that are day to day at Emerald Point.

OMG this was the funniest one yet...I have lived here a year and have NEVER heard gun shots! I have a balcony and no one steal anything from me OR my neighbors! ONCE AGAIN there is NO weight restriction on dogs! ONLY BREED RESTIRCTIONS!!!!!! I have a 180lb SAINT BERNARD! and YES the the office knows all about him and i pay my extra pet rent per month. As for the sex offenders, you can find at least TWO in every neighborhood! Even your rich neighborhoods!
