I lived in these awful apt's for 2years cause it was a cheap option for my sister & I who were both single mom's at that point, but if you do decide to stay at this apt complex be sure to save all you receipts! When I finally moved out of this Hell hole they told me that we never made a deposit & I owed them for cleaning the apt & the last water & last gas bill. It was funny cause I paid off my gas bill & I even had a credit w/ the gas company but somehow owed EP that $$. Just a warning to all who think it's so great & cheap & not that bad that I paid every bill on time & I know my sister and I made a deposit, but according to their records we never did such things.... I know that this apt complex is alot more frustration then it's worth.
Thank god We are outta there now!!!!!!!!!!! :) Happily living elsewhere!

This had me laughing "(they love to walk away while you're talking as soon as you say they already suckered you into living there)" I can't tell you how many times the office staff just got up and walked away on me!! It made me furious. I had to call Breeden and complain about the treatment I got which then got me a "sorry, but we were upset" call. Whatever. I moved out a year ago, and while things aren't "perfect" where ever you may rent, at least I am not pulling my hair out furious every other week like I was. Hated it at Emerald Point, wouldn't even refer an enemy there.

we had rats... in fact we have VIDEO proof of it!!!! The rats were evicted tho cause they weren't paying rent!!! lol

Yeah it's fun to call the maintenance line and wait for someone to light the pilot light after hours. I had that happen a few years ago on super bowl sunday and NOBODY showed up. I was pregnant with 2 little kids. I also won't turn on the heat often because I hate the way it smells. They NEVER clean the air ducts. Oh, I have had rats in my apartment too.
