where do i began. first off, they show you a model apartment that looks NOTHING like the apartments. before i even signed the lease they moved me twice. and the last apartment they tried to move me into was DISGUSTING! the carpets looked and smelt like they were from the 70's. the was mold under the flooring in the bathroom. kitchen was horrible. bathroom counter was cracked from the very front part of the sink to the wall. the closets in both rooms wouldnt open. so i made them give me another one. and it was just as bad. the apt that i live in now, the carpet doesnt reach the walls in ANY of the rooms, my second bedroom the carpet fully lifts up, along with mold and rippage in the carpet all over. and whoever painted these apartments did a REALLY half assed job. theres paint on the carpet EVERYWHERE. one of the closets smell like a liter box. the tiles in the bathroom are peeling up. AND ontop of all of that it was INFESTED with fleas! i have went to maintanence 4 TIMES! it has been 2 weeks since the first time ive made a complaint, and STILL nothing. they dont care WHAT SO EVER about you. they really do take advantage of people that cant afford other places in virginia beach. i heard everyone talkin bout them... and didnt listen. and WOW do i regret it. dont be hard headed like i was. trust me.

Yep. The new thing now is where I live on prince arthur their are cars being broke into last year and this year 4 houses down someone got their house broken into and they stole everything and then 2 days ago 2 cars got broken into with the windows busted out. This place is HORRIABLE!! Virginia the maintence person. She DOES NOT DO HER JOB. Neither does half the maintence people. Their are like 3 that do know what they are doing. I HATE LIVING HERE. I'm moving soon so YEA. BUT DO NOT LIVE HERE. Well if I was you I would call the health department like I did and they (emerald point) got in trouble and they fixed all my problems the same day that they inspecter came out. Good luck on your place but I would not renew your lease. Or rent here. They are money hungry!!!

Oh how glad I am to be out of there. I don't worry about roaches, rats, jet noise, a 50 page lease to sign and initial, my car getting hit. One day EP will just be a bad dream for you too. Believe me, I still have dreams of that place.

You know what? I lived there and had my air out during the hottest days of the year along with roaches crawling all over and that was not from me. My husband and I are clean people and we will not live in EP again and I tell all of my friends not to live there. Plus there have been at least 4-5 fires there since I moved a year ago and the fires burned down more than one person's apartment. Get out!

Not once did say that EP was responsible for cars bein broken into. we are just saying what goes on in this area. AND i do go to the leasing office. and when something does get done its after me being a ----- for weeks. it took them 2 WEEKS to remove the nasty carpet in my apt. theres still fleas. and the condition of the apt when i moved in should NOT have been like that. they saw the carpet more than an inch away from the wall and did not fix it. the carpet guy came in yesterday and goes "OH! i remeber this apt, theres toys under the carpet, and the carpets and inch away from the walls" THEN WHY DIDNT THEY MAKE YOU FIX IT! and im not tryna ruini anything for anyone. if you are willing to live with roaches and rats and live in ghetto ass apts. then by all means. i do believe that they false advertise. go to apartmentguide.com and look at the pix they show you. they are NOTHING like the real thing. they pull you in with their "amazing" prices but screw you over with any chance they get

ONE OF THE PICTURES FOR EMERALD POINT IS ONE THAT MY DAUGHTER MOVED INTO. SHE HAD SOME MAJOR PROBLEMS BUT NOT TILL SHE USED SOME OF THE THINGS AND FOUND OUT IT WOULD FLOOD THE CLOSET AND INTO THE DR. SOME THINGS THE TEAM (GUESS THAT IS WHAT THEY ARE CALLED) CANNOT FIX IF THEY ARE NOT TOLD BY PREVIOUS TENANTS AT MOVE OUT. I HAVE HAD AN OCCASIONAL WATER BUG (BIG UGLY THINGS)I KILL IT AND SPRAY MY OWN HEAVY DUTY STUFF. EP DOES USE A BUG COMPANY FOR THAT BUT I ONLY ASK FOR ITEMS TO BE DONE IF THEY ARE SOMETHING I CANNOT HANDLE MYSELF. NOW MY CARPETS DID HAVE TO BE RECLEANED BY EP'S CARPET CLEANER CONTRACTOR (DOES WORK FOR OTHER COMPANIES AND EP WHEN HIRED). EP SEVERAL MONTHS AGO GOT PEERLESS TO CLEAN THE CARPETS AND SUCH. THEY HIRE OUT FOR CARPETS TO BE PUT IN, CLEANED, BUG GUY, AND OTHERS. AND IF A CARPET GUY SAW TOYS UNDER A CARPET HE SHOULD HAVE REMOVED IT, PART OF HIS JOB TO DO THAT. THESE COMPANIES WILL TRY TO GET AWAY WITHOUT DOING THE JOB PROPERLY AND STILL GET PAID FOR IT, IF SOMEONE DOES NOT LET THE OFFICE KNOW ABOUT THE SHODDY WORK. NOW THEY DO HAVE TO ORDER CERTAIN ITEMS BEFORE THEY CAN PUT NEW ONES IN. THAT IS JUST LIFE. I HAVE SEEN WHAT TENANTS DO TO A PLACE WHEN THEY ARE EVICTED OR SNEAK AWAY ON A SUNDAY. THEY DUMP THEIR JUNK/FURNITURE/TRASH/ETC ALL OVER THE DUMPSTER AREAS. THEY LEAVE THERE DOORS OPEN WHILE DOING SO AND YOU CAN SEE HOLES IN THE WALL AT THE ENTRANCE. I HAVE MOVED OUT OF ONE WHERE THERE WERE SO MANY PATCHED HOLES IT WAS NOT EVEN FUNNY. TENANTS CAUSE PROBLEMS FOR OTHERS WHETHER IT IS A NEIGHBOR OR A NEW TENANT. WHEN THEY WRECK A PLACE OR LET THEIR PETS PEE AND CRAP ALL OVER THE CARPETS AND THEN WANT TO GET EVEN FOR ALL THE STUFF THEY FELT ENTITLED TO=THEY JUST THROW THE TRASH AND POOP ALL OVER THE WALLS AND CARPETS. THOSE TYPE TENANTS GIVES ANY APARTMENT COMPLEX A BAD RAP. I TAKE MY DOG OUT ALL OVER THE EP AND SURROUNDING AREAS AND I HAVE NOT SEEN ANY RATS EVEN AT NIGHT NEAR THE DUMPSTERS. NONE OF MY NEIGHBORS THAT I HAVE AND HAD AT MY OTHER APARTMENT, HAVE HAD ANY PROBS WITH ROACHES. NOW AS TO FLEAS PUT BORAX DOWN ON YOUR CARPETS, UNDER YOUR FURNISHER, EVEN UNDER COACH CUSHINGS, ETCL AS WHEN THE FLEAS JUMP INTO IT IT KILLS THEM BY DRYING THEM OUT. A VET GAVE MY THAT ADVICE YEARS AGO AND IT STILL WORKS. I HAD THEM HERE AND TOOK CARE OF IT MYSELF. NO ONE CAN TELL THERE ARE FLEAS UNLESS THEY LIVE IN THE UNIT. SO COME ON KIDDEES PLAY FAIR. STOP THE TANTRUMS AND PUT THE BLAME WHERE IT LIES=PREVIOUS TENANTS WHO LIVED IN YOUR UNIT BEFORE YOU. AND YES PARTS TAKE TIME TO GET IF ORDERED. I ORDERED A PART FOR MY STEREO THEY SAID I WOULD HAVE IT IN 7-10 DAYS, I AM STILL WAITING AFTER I CALLED THEM THREE TIMES THEY NOW SAY THEY ARE OVER NIGHTING IT. JUST SHOWS WHEN DEALING WITH PARTS SUPPLIERS YOU ARE AT THEIR MERSY. ANYWAY YOU ALL ENJOY YOUR NEW RESIDENTS WHERE ALL IS FINE AND GOOD, NO ONE DOING ANYTHING BAD, AND THE UNITS ARE FABULOUS. OOPS MY BAD THAT I THINK WOULD BE 'HEAVEN'. HAPPY HUNTING FOR A PLACE HERE ON EARTH THAT MAY FILL THAT BILL FOR YOU:) BYEEE FOR NOW
