I agree with the other bad reviews, when I first moved in almost 2 years ago the management was pleasant, courteous, helpful, prompt and the community was safe. Leslie and Brad were wonderful people! After new management took over, rent went up and quality went DOWN! Besides the increase in crime, the new management was very rude and very slow to react whenever contacted for anything! Several examples: I too had major air conditioning problems after repeated requests to maintenance to fix, it finally took the electric company to contact them with a $300 electric bill for a 600sq ft apartment before they corrected the problem. Another example, I came home one weekend night, my water was turned off with no notice or warning, when I called maintenance to tell them my water would not turn on, they said it was from my leaking water heater they had to replace but could not fix it until Monday, they did not leave a note or even try to call me to tell me in advance what happened! They said it was leaking into the apartment below me, however when I asked my neighbor below what happened he said there was not a drop of water in his apartment and did not know what they were talking about! More examples....They changed our locks and refused to tell us why, they threatened to tow my husband's car while he was on deployment because his tags expired, they only gave me 2 days to resolve the problem with the tags before it was towed yet the office assistant manager had a car with expired tags PARKED BESIDE ME for at least 3 months! When the crime increased we received letters saying they are not responsible and WE need to take precautions to protect ourselves. They did not increase lighting, they did not hire security. FINALLY at the end of our lease when we thought the nightmare was over and we could leave, management tried to say we still owed rent from the previous month, when I showed them a bank statement proving it was automatically withdrawn, they tried yet again......with a different month.....NICE TRY.... I had to print off 6 months worth of bank statements to prove we never missed a rent payment. And you can only laugh at this.....when it came time for our security deposit to be refunded they deducted $10 for a "missing towel bar". Why would anyone take a towel bar'! By then we were so happy to be out of there we didnt bother fighting it. Terrible place please look else where. But if you must move in, my advice is keep all receipts, document everything!

If I were you, I would write a letter demanding your $10 back as a matter of principle. Don't take this as legal advice but I'm an attorney and that is what I would do.
