I've lived here less than a year. I won't be renewing my lease at the end of the year. The good thing about this place is that it is very safe and quiet. If I were going to stay here, that would be the reason. The office staff is nice for the most part, but there have been 3 times so far where I have called and asked them to do something and it never gets done. The maintenance people are very nice. They always wave at you in the parking lot and smile. You don't have an outside garbage can. You take your bags of trash out on Tuesdays and Fridays. So from Friday to Tuesday, you have garbage piling up with nowhere to put it. I would like to know how they would like it if they had trash piling up in their house. Because of that, of course, you get ants and other bugs. We have two garbage cans in our kitchen and we try not not put any food in it, but they are still almost overflowing by the time trash day comes. Oh and when you get those bugs, the stupid bug guy acts like it's a huge inconvenience for him to be there. If you ask him to do more than one thing he gets all mad. You aren't allowed to have grills. They have a "grilling area" by the office. There, they have one, yes ONE grill for everyone to use. Don't move here if you love grilling like we do. The pool is nice so that's a plus. The kitchens and bathrooms are very outdated, which is probably why you won't find a picture of those on their website. I've seen a few water bugs in my apartment since I've lived here. Those things are disgusting! The manager is a very nice woman, but I just don't understand how she doesn't think about some of these things. My last apartment was alot crappier than this and was half the cost, but at least we had a freaking garbage can outside that we took out to the street once a week. You get one assigned parking spot. There are unmarked spots for visitors or your other vehicle, but good luck finding one close to your apartment. It is in a beautiful neighborhood! That is the best part about this place. I would recommend this apartment just because of the area and it's a good price compared to others in the Virginia Beach area. You do not have to be scared to go outside at night by yourself here. They just have some things they need to improve on!

I wrote a review the other day and I do agree that the trash thing is a huge pain in the butt. My husband and I have to throw away our trash somewhere else. But honestly thats the worst thing that we have had to deal with..Definitely a safe area and that is what is one of the most important things here.

You can bring your trash to to dumpster by the pool anytime. I do it all of the time.
