This place seemed great at first. My only complaint was the very small kitchen. as time when by a new person moved into the building. When you move in they give you one parking spot so if you have more than one car you have to park in an open spot. WHich is so hard to get, there are times you have to park 5 or 6 building away. Well this new couple that moved in parked there car in an open spot and it sat there for months, not just a weeks or two but at least 3 months. One day to our surprise they moved the car to another open spot but of course it has sat there unmoved to this day. and that was in dec 2008. over 4 months ago. I even wrote a letter to the office about it, but nothing has been done and this couple i guess feel like they are special enough to get "2" spots. i am sure the other neighbors are mad too, they took the only open spot that is inbetween 3 buildings. THe other thing is the windows, they are not insulated ans i almost cried when i saw that my electic bill is over $200 each month during the winter. Even the back door is drafty. This place has been getting worse and worse the longer we live here. I hate having to call the maintanence people, so many things have broke here, and when the repair guy comes he tells us that it happends all the time. They are good about getting things fixed fast at least for us they have been. but i hate when something breaks and i have to call, seems like every month or 2 i am calling. I think one of the girls that works in the office lives here, you would think she would be more simpathetic. The price seems right but dont move here.

have them towed thats why they give you the list of numbers when u move in...dummy! Stop being so negative...all u have to complain about is someone parking in an empty spot are u freakin kidding??? Grow up its a FREE parking spot no where in your lease i'm sure does it say u have a limited time to keep your car there...ever think they are out to sea defending our country for your stupid whinning self??? As far as calling maintenance its their job to come out on calls! The place was built in the 80's whata ya expect??? As far as your electric bill well arent the 2 beds 1100 sf and 3 beds 1400sf...thats the size of a house dah! Plus have u watched the news we are in a resession and the electric company has raised their rates....quit crying and find whys to save on energy like turn off the lights when u walk out of a room...I say find something worth while to complain about and move on or better yet move out already!

Wow you seem kinda harsh on them. I live here and i do agree with them that parking is a problem. Even if the car that is not moving is deployed, i am sure there is someone taking care of it, they could move it when they drive it. There is not a lot of free spots so i move the cars when one of us are deployed. Thats just me though. I'm just shocked at your reaction. Were they talking about you?

the harsh review was probably from the office staff. These apartments suck worse than living in the ship yards of Newport News. I was there for over a year and anytime I had an issue it took 3 to 4 months for anyone to show up. The tenants there are not properly screened and so many of them let their children wonder the apartments and several times i had to tell them to get their bikes off of our cars. the parking is a disaster. And I'm sorry but I have lived in several townhomes and NONE have been as poorly insulated as these. The townhome i live in now is over 1400 square feet and I have never seen an electric bill over 120.00 and everyone that I had there was 200 . These complex's are priced so ridiculous. they don't spend the tentants rent money on simple repairs to keep tentants happy and warm in the winter. I would not recommend this place to someone i hate. The office staff is nice until you sign your lease and the maintence staff are just as bad. oh and i hope you like drug deals going on outside your front door if you move here. there have been so many problems with this place there are to many to name.
