I moved into Linkhorn last December. First of all I definitely recommend the back of the property...I live right near the clubhouse in a 2 bedroom. The apartment's seem to be in better condition back there. I have had a couple maintenance issues with my dryer not working but other than that nothing too serious. I wanted to take the time to get on here because this website almost stopped me from renting here. I had a pretty good experience from the get-go. I had a really nice leasing agent named Ashley. She was more than helpful and followed up with me after I moved in. I've seen a lot of complaints about the staff, maint, etc. The Jet noise and gunshots make me laugh... "If you're hearing gun shots you probably have superhuman hearing b/c it's probably oming from Norfolk 20 miles away. As for the jets...I've written the Naval Department and asked them to turn off the "noise making" button on the jets when they fly over. I haven't received a response yet, so I plan on writing the President of the United States next. Maybe he can do something about my light bulb being out in my apartment while he's at it." I couldnt have said it better myself.

Also, I recent read a review a few postings down with a lady who actually stated her name and bashed the property. Let me go ahead and say that I would not take the advice from someone who has the writing skills of a 1st grader. Give me a break.

Linkhorn isn't that bad..I wouldnt stay here permanently but if you are going to buy a house in the near future it's not a bad place to live.

Not everywhere, in Virginia Beach, does your house shake every time one takes off, or, lands. You may as well live on Southern Ave.

I'm glad that you are having a nice experience so far. That's how mine was for the 1st year. Now it sucks. I hope that your experience doesn't go down hill like mine did with maintenance never showing up to fix my refrigerator and it's been 8 mos!!! Ummm... your car getting towing from a spot that everyone else had been parking at for the past 6 mos. and theirs never got towed. Can't complain bout the jet noise although it's become more and more bothersome when you trying to watch TV b/w 8pm and 10pm. The apt is nice in size but not worth the money if service isn't worth it...
