My fiance and I like living here. We have had no major maintenance issues but that's because we actually take care of our apartment. The location is great and it is very well priced for the location. The office staff members are always professional and patience for such a huge community, I have seen them deal with some idiot residents here and I don't know how they can stay so calm but they do! My friend who lives down the street in Saltmeadow Bay, pays one and half times more than I do for the same size apartment with the same amenities and same distance to everything and it smells like sewage water there. I'm pretty content with the community although Virginia Beach is too loud for me with the jet noises.

Well, if you move less than one-half of a mile away from the base, the jets are graciously quieter, because Linkhorn Bay is right at the end of the runway. Maintenance isn't horrendous, but, a mover said to me, "You pay (price) for this?" And, very few apartments can afford an outside view, without being watched or seen, either on the back porch or out your window.
