I had ongoing problems with my bathroom ceiling... It took almost 3 months for them to finally get around and find the leak... In the mean time I gave them a 21 day notice of the problem and stated that I would take them to court it the issue was not resolved. 21 days came and went the problem was still there. I took the apartment complex to court with all my pictures and evidence and I won! I sued for my rent back and I got it! I suggest if you are having a problem start documenting everything and take plenty of pictures. People I am not a lawyer by any means, just a house wife who was tired of watching her children suffer due to LINKHORN BAY'S pitiful maintenance team! I found out how to do everything over the internet. If you are having problems that are not being resoved please start looking into this! Since then I have moved out of this apartment complex. When I went to the front office once to tell them about all the problem in my apartment, I also told them to look at this website to see what people thought about the complex. The response I got was that they are not able to make everyone happy and the only poeple that posted to this site were people that got evicted due to non payment of rent! HAHAHAHAHAHA I never paid my rent late, I was not a bad tenant, my family just moved into a poor excuse for living quarters! Anyway I'll get off my soap box my point is you can sue a business (that's what the apartment complex is) and get results. You can even break your lease without having to pay! Please don't live unhappy for an entire year like I had to endure!

The only, and I do mean only, good thing I can say about the apartment is I did feel safe enough at night, even at 2 am, to walk to the dumpster around the corner of my apartment. I wouldn't have done that when I lived in Norfolk..lol.. Other than that the parking is terrible, noise is terrible, the grounds that new people see are well maintained, however the rest of the complex is not! Safety is good, maintenance is terrible, the staff is a JOKE and overall I'd give this complex a -10!

Please heed my advice and DO NOT RENT HERE!!
