This place has given me and my husband day after day issues. First of many complaints is the staff are such ------- and are soooo rude and dont ever help you. Second, you tell them to have the manager call you and you leave your number and he never ever calls back or does anything he says and hes the MANAGER! third, the repairs suck and never get done right ever! they went to fix my door and all they did was put wood over it and didnt paint it and made it look worse and extrememly cheap and poor. i pay 1075 a month to live some where that shity' its insane! i hated that place. i literally no joke had to go to the office to get things fixed and never happened literally like hundreds of times! im not even kidding. they dont even know what they are doing! then we had our place almost broke into. luvkily i was awake using the bathroom and heard it and looked out the wondow and a black guy was trying to break into my babys room! Then not to mention they let any one move there. drunks and party people. you can never get sleep and all you hear are the people banging up stairs non stop. its like people have no respect. every thing breaks and is molded. the whole building i lived in was full of mold. it was a huge hazard. They came to "fix" it by putting kills on it which by the way did NOTHING. it grew straight back oh and before they enter your house tell them wipe their feet because they have no respect and dont clean up after them selfs and run dirt all in your place and then they went to fix my electric and left all the stuff that they pulled out from the garage on the porch and left with out any notice for me to clean up and lift back in while i was pregnant. they are crapy people and the jets are very loud. you cant hear your tv ever. lets just say you should rent a house with that much that your paying in that crapy place. they wake you up in the morning early at like 7 or 8 mowing the our side. its funny. dont judge a book by its cover because the out side may appear nice sometimes but the inside is horrible. I wouldnt wish that place on any of my enemys. its extremely horribleand drug dealers are all around there. its a waste of good earned money. dont do it im warning you! dont do it!

KRISTIN PARKER ( i like for linkhorn bay to see my name so they know how much i hate them and they know me but as many complaints i had to put on them for them breaking their lease and not fixing things and being very rude. i encourage you to look in the lease and find the things they are breaking and take them to court. they need a good law suit up their butts!) oh plus they charge every one for water and divide it by how many people and squar footage. your going to pay water no matter if your even home that month and its at least 55 to 60 dollars! its bull!

Yanno...there is a place for legitimate complaints. Linkhorn Bay Apartments leaves a lot to be desired. However, your comment that "they let anyone move here" is hateful since the company cannot legally discriminate who does and does not live here. Second, as far as the jet noise is concerned, Linkhorn Bay has nothing to do with that. Complain to the Navy if you don't like that. Finally, your drug dealer comment is akin to someone else's "gunshots" comment. Where have you seen drug dealers? The one thing this place has going for it is that it is relatively safe. Your chief complaints are that the maintenance is bad, the office staff sucks, and it is expensive. I can agree with you on those points. The other complaints you have are out of the control of the company.

I took them to court and won! I got my rent back! All you have to do is follow everything in the Landloard-Tenant Act of Virginia.. It tells you You have to give them a 21 day notice of everything you are complaining about. If everything you give them notice about is not fixed within those 21 days you can take them to general district court which all the way down General Booth (past Wal-Mart on Nimmo). You don't need a lawyer. I didn't have one and I went against their lawyer. I just presented all my evidence, dates of when everything happened (if anything) make sure you keep a copy of everything you give the apartment or the apartment gives you! And take pictures!! I'm telling you I've never been to court and it seems like this is happening to LinkHorn Bay more often now! In the Landlord Tenant Act there is also something in there that states that if everything is not fixed within those 21 days you can get out of your least without having to pay the penalty! I'm not kidding.. Oh and EVERYTHING Kristin Parker says is TRUE!! DO NOT RENT HERE!!

I lived in Linkhorn Bay for 1 year. I had drug dealers living next door to me and drug addicts living below us. In fact, when we called the police for a noise complaint the tenants were cited on drug charges. We informed Linkhorn Bay of the situation and provided documentation from the police dept. They could care less. So Chrisald... yes there is drug problem within in this apt complex and is caused by the rental company turning its head. The use and sale of illicit drugs, or any other criminal activity, is not protected by equal housing laws. So yes, they do let ANYONE live there. Also, our cars and those of some friends who live there were broken into.

Ok well I have done my fair share of complaining on here..but Ive got to say that jnjarrell claims they moved out a year ago and they still get on this site and complain? Well thats the problem...people who already moved out and cannot move on...seriously get on with your life.
