I have lived here for almost 2 years. I think it is too expensive for what you get- my back door and the window in the second bedroom leaks every time it rains. Yes, I have called maintenance many times. If they actually come- It is only a temporary fix, a few times I have waited a few days and then called back and the maintenance request "had been canceled" though not by me. Once it was reported as "done" though no one had came by. So nothing I have requested to be fixed is acutally fixed- unless my husband does it. I have also had 2 seperate occasions were I have payed rent and then been served a notice of late rent. (always get a receipt and save it!) They had credited my money to another account! They did fix it both times, though the first time it took a whole month before all of the "late" charges had been removed from my account. Sometimes there is NO parking and I have to park on the street and walk to my apartment- I feel I should not have to park my car on the road given what I pay in rent. There are no assigned spots, you just get what you can. They also tryed to raise my rent 7% when I renewed! More than what they were charging for new renters (I called and asked what it would cost for my apartment and it was cheaper than what they wanted me to renew for) When I said something about it, they did lower it to the amont that they were charging new renters, but I just know they are going to try that again this year... Other than that, it is not too bad. I don't really hear my neighbors, which is nice. It is not too far from the beach and I like the schools in the area. Staff is usually nice- just not very organized! I will not stay here after my lease is up this time- it is just too much of a hassel. Oh yeah, the jet noise can get a little loud, but I have pretty much gotten used to it...
