So I ignored what everyone told me and what I read on here when I moved in, thinking ah it aint that bad and we would be banking some money off living here. Well that is where I was wrong.

I dont have a washer and dryer so I use their facilities. I dont care about not having one in home, if the damn dryers worked 95%of the time. I dont know how many times I have went to get my clothes out and they would still be soaked and the next day I would go down and they would have permanent marker written all over them.. NO HEAT... wow how convenient.

The very day I moved in we were filling out the maintenence paper thing to explain everything wrong with the apartment. Well along with the toilet, the fan, and the medicine cabinet being broke in the bathroom. The bedroom doors were fitted right, my screen door was laying on my balcony. I opened the cabinet above the refridgerator (remember I moved absolutely NOTHING in yet, just checking everything out) and roaches by the dozen ran out! I got exterminated the next week (supposively there was no sign of him being here) it took 3 months for them to fix the fan (wow they fixed it alright they put a new cover on it and that was it) and the screen door (they had to bring a new one and it didnt even fit right and it had fallen off just by my son running into it on accident about a week later)

The office staff was great and friendly, every time I had a complaint I always felt bad because they were so nice. But everything else was HORRIBLE. Linkhorn Bay is party city, I have had to call the cops on my neighbor one night (then the guy got arrested and ended up attempting to punch the cop). I feel disgusting in here, the bath tub was not very pretty at all. The faucets were so rusted and the curtain rod wasnt even attached to the wall, if you put a towel over it and tried to pull it off later the whole bar would fall on you. My dishwasher SUCKS (which I really didnt care about just thought I would throw it in there for the people who do).

It is unsanitary, I am paying like 2 grand to break my lease and get out of here. I feel its the best for me and my son (my husband is on deployment). I am doing it all by myself, that is how bad it is!

Please re-think moving here because they charge too much for what they provide and they you will regret it when you are in my boat trying to get out of it!

I seriously would not reccomend this place to ANYONE.. I am not a complainer either, I couldnt believe it when I finally had it to my wits end here.

Listen to the 75% of us and DONT waste your time or money!

I'm sorry to hear that they're making you pay $2000 to break your lease. They let us out of the lease, after only three months of two months of living there, because an ex-apartment prep person (a residential employee) molested my girlfriend (she says he would've raped her, but, she stopped him (which, I think, is an oxymoron)) for a joint (which I smoked). Rodney (maintenance supervisor) hangs his head after he waves to me (I see him because my father still lives in the complex). When he did the move-out inspection, he walked in and out with his head down bypassing the red-drink that I spilled two days before and a couple of cigarette burn-holes (after that incident, I started smoking inside). He gave us our entire security deposit back. I was not sorry to leave that place. Memories of horse-sized dog crap laying in the middle of the sidewalk, and, everywhere on the property. I walked my dog and couldn't stop thinking about how inconsiderate a person could be.
