Where do I start''' Upon moving in we did not have new carpet, paint or appliances as promised. The carpet had stains everywhere - the appliances must have been originals from the 70's. The bath tub was DISGUSTING. I cleaned it the best I could and it still never came clean. The very first night it rained and I woke up to a puddle in my room...my furniture was ruined! There wasn't a dry spot in the whole room. The windows had a terrible leak. I had to drag all of my furniture out into the living room...I had to wait 3 weeks for maint. to replace the windows!! I had to deal with furniture everywhere for over a month. The walls are paper thin - you can hear EVERYTHING going on at your neighbors. The water bill is ridiculous. I should only be charged for what I use. Trying to get help from someone in the office is impossible. Parking is a nightmare. The lights outside never did get fixed for the 10 months I was there...I did not feel safe. I didn't even finish my lease I was so disgusted with Linkhorn. The bugs.....the deteriorating deck...everything from the start is terrible. False advertising to say the least!!

I cannot agree with you more. I moved away from there in Dec and I am SO HAPPY!!! I had gigantic roaches/water bugs (whatever they are they're disgusting), my bathtub was never clean so I was never able to take a bath. It was just me in my apt and my water bill would go from 30 to 50 dollars a month, which is utterly ridiculous. If I left and came back at night I could forget a parking space anywhere remotely near my apt. Also, in the advertisments, it says "cable included" but I didn't find out until signing my lease that cable is included yes, but you have to pay for it. My rent was almost 1000 and I was in a 1 bedroom small apt.
